APEX Trigger Legal in IPSC

I doubt it, but Im gonna check back later to confirm. Would make the M&P a top choice for production div. if the apex trigger is ok...

For Production, first shot needs a 5lb trigger pull so not legal in that division...Standard or Open you’d be ok.

Edit: sorry, already answered.

ahhhh good thing that I stumbled across to this thread. I was about to spend $279 for Apex tactical trigger kit on my M&P 9mm. I compete in production division as well. That would have created problems for me.

If you're an accurate shooter, shooting minor in Standard and Open really isn't much of a negative. at least according to my trophies

John R proved that in Revolver Division as well. Still takes talent to win and lack there of to finish middle of the pack no matter what you shoot.

Take Care

In Canada (ie - the 10 round world) , if you're shooting in Standard or Open with a Minor gun against someone of similar skills shooting Major - you will lose.
Managing increased recoil in Open or Standard is not a factor. They have the advantage of scoring better when they are off the "A", and you get none.
(Even the pros can't shoot an entire match of all "A"s.)

Apex triggers are illegal in IPSC Production; not just for the sub-5 lb trigger - but because they are an aftermarket part.
USPSA Production division is a completely different animal than IPSC production.
