The reason for a K, imho, is brass life. I am not trying to make a magnum, I have other guns for that. I still shoot a standard Hornet and don’t feel underpowered.

Just outta curiosity why do you think the 465 is special?
I agree with the .221 Fireball... it will be much more accurate all other things being equal... the thing against the Hornet is it is based on a crappy rimmed case...
I have had many of each... I have a K reamer and turned half a dozen Hornets into K-Hornets... the K is a better design... you only pick up a grain, but it makes a difference in both case life and velocity, without giving up accuracy... Lil'Gun is THE powder.
