fair price for a case of Czech Surplus 7.62x39?

A bud is offering to sell me a case of Czech 7.62x39 (the stuff on strippers, 1120 rounds), whats this stuff going for these days? Want to offer him a fair amount.

Stripper clips are becoming a rarity. $270.... you can always grind lower. I got those Czech cases back in the day for $179. Those days are long gone though.

pretty close I agree, also I am not judging specifically but 100 rds of Czech vs 100rds of PRC would not be valued the same either, I would put a slight premium on the Czech ammo. So 280 on the cheap and about 340 on the high side

Sssshhh! They read this I dont have any ammo I do a lot of visualization training pretending to shoot paper when I go to the range. If I ever decide to buy some ammo I'll probably hit the bullseye on paper....... it's much cheaper that shooting real bullets.

I’d trade a crate locally for some 7.62x51 anytime. It’s good stuff, otherwise I’d hoard it.
