The Stag 10s NR stripped receiver set thread

It’s a Bear Creek Arsenal HB 20 inch .308.

I sold the Faxon to another CGN er, because I have a CA CFW enroute.
Plus as I’m already set up to reload .308,I didn’t want to dump another $500 for 6.5 reloading gear.
 
What would be the best (perhaps most affordable?) approach to get a buffer tube assembly for the stag 10. I have found kits for $50 for ar15’s though I understand the springs and buffer should be different to handle .308?
 
Yup different spring and buffer for 308. There are similar kits from Brownells, could probably find a spring and buffer combo and by an extension tube seperately
 
I'm ordering the Taccom 308 buffer and spring from asstech, same goes for my SLR build in 223 wylde.
I want to try and keep it light and lessen the reciprocating mass with adjustable gas and low mass BCGs.
 
Canada Post is just killing me over here with this epic journey they have sent my receiver set on. WTF?? expedited parcel shipped on the 18th and still not here. It spent 3 days sitting in montreal for some stupid reason..... hope they aren't playing games with firearm parcels...... then 2 days in richmond...... then they sent it to kelowna where it has sat since the 27th........ better be here today or I'm gonna lose my schit.

Now this is not Arms East's fault at all but I'm gonna request that my parts order get sent express post because this near 2 weeks shipping from one side of the country to the other will not do.
I've shipped a lot of stuff expedite parcel small business and never seen this before. I got parcels from the USA shipped after my receiver set, that arrived beginning of last week LOL

Based on previous experience, when a package takes that long, there's usually something wrong. Have you called them?

Not normal for sure. Usually takes a week by ground. Good luck!
 
12 to 15 days is the norm from BC to NL.
10 to 12 from AB to NL
7 to 10 from ON to NL
5 to 7 from. NS to NL

And about 3 to 4 weeks from the US to here.

To bad AE didn’t have a bigger variety:)

It happened to me too. Mine sat in Montreal for 3-4 days. Don't worry, it shows up. ;)

I ordered custom made stuff from the States after it, it cleared customs and made it here before my receivers. It was 971 lbs of freight too.

I ordered my received on July 7th. I still haven't receive any shipping notice. Do you think that receivers that have been bought that week will ship soon?

Probably shipping next week, I can’t remember when Arms East said their shipment is coming in, but IIRC it was at the end of this week.
