We just received two of these (the other is slightly different) that are headed out to Wanstalls shortly.

These come from the Marlin Custom Shop where you can choose everything you want done to it including custom barrel length, Cerakote colors, sights, porting, etc.

It's the XLR pattern bolt.

Hopefully the shift to Dakota Arms will help solve the tragedy of beautiful wood improperly inletted, and over buffed octagon barrels.

Pretty sad when you are holding a new factory rifle in your hands saying:

"....I can fix this, and I can fix that...." and then come to your senses and say "WTF" why should I fix a new "deluxe" rifle...!*&&^%^&$%&"

I hear you - I have never used or wanted the safety on a lever gun. He solution to that problem is Henry.
