The best way to get a moose tag is to date a good looking status Indian girl...you can then hunt 24/7, 364 1/4 days a year!
Phuck the regs!

A native co worker has taken 7 moose so far this year, others are bragging about summer caribou hunts :bangHead:

I went in individually and I drew a cow tag for 60. Like winning the lottery. Last year there were only 34 available. This is my first moose tag ever. been in pool 1 for 5 years. My buddy drew calf.

I wouldn't have an issue if his family could consume the 6-7000 plus pounds of meat. They would have to consume 16-19 lbs of meat per day for a year to eat it all.

Maybe they should do away with the calf tag and perhaps some more will be able to mature... that's gotta be the stupidest tag IMO.

Agreed. They should stop the calf hunt, but we all know that the provincial gov is addicted to the $$$ the licences generate...

Which is hilarious and typically that money should be used to conserve populations.

We all know what the best answer is but it's racist so onward to the moose extinction in Canada.

It's going away slowly, but,it's going. There was another general reduction, again, this year,in tag allocations for southern Ontario and many WMU's in the north. Couple that with forest fire damage and it'll be years before it recovers,if ever. The days of Moose hunting in this province are long behind us.
