BCL15 Upper/Lower Sets $89.95, Non Cerakoted...in the Raw

With the cerama coat on the way, and the tools, stock and ambi lower parts kit I picked up yesterday, I have enough to complete my lower.

Thanks Ryan,

I would sooner have the parts; are they able to come through on the BCL 102s?

It’s nothing to do with production, they are made already and have been for a while. It’s something to do with registering them. I’m assuming they were on an export permit at one time which is causing the issue.

It's time to start a build! First I need to find out what prep work is needed before applying Cerama Coat. Nice that they have the BCL logo and name.🛠 2018-08-04 10.21.40.jpg

Like yours, my upper is already sand blasted; I will be blasting my lower as well to obtain a similar texture. I will be using acetone and a soft natural bristle brush to clean (do this outside with protective gloves that the acetone won't melt). Blow dry, and repeat. Blasting gives more surface area for the Cerama/Cera Coat to adhere to; acetone scrub makes sure there is no oil, dirt or dust that will interfere with the bond.

That's about it.

You can have mine when I get a refund

Why would you need a refund. Why not just sell it to him? If you get a refund it has to be transferred through the CFP back the SFRC then he has to get in touch with them to buy it and then they have to do a transfer to him. Just sell it to the guy as a private sale and save all the paperwork.

A couple dozen were having troubles being transferrered. If it’s not sorted out by Tuesday I’m giving those people refunds.

I meant that I will be taking a refund when it is offered to me. And the way I understand it is that the receives haven't even been transferred to sfrc yet. So to save a transfer and the associated paper work I will be accepting the refund and they can have a set in inventory. Plus it will avoid shipping being paid twice. That's why

My misunderstanding. I assumed you had it already. Apologies.

Really, I'm willing to sit on mine for another week or two; I would really like the second set. I missed too many good deals in the past.
