Never thought coyotes would peek my interest but it has. I'm looking for a mouth call as I don't wanna be lugging around a mechinal box or worry about batteries. I have no idea what's out there unless I Google it but I don't trust most reviews. What you guys have for me?

Look up carver predator calls and order the strictly business set and you will be good to go... He deliveries to Canada

Hah, Like I said on AO, it ain't rocket science, even Canadian tire sells them. Used those "cheap plastic Junkies " since I was a teen and killed lots of coyotes. Primos makes a couple of good calls. Technique is the important thing. doesn't take coyotes long to figure all that wails isn't Hasenpfeffer. :)

Ha ha yup pretty well sums up my experience as well...a buddy and I have found the plastic noise makers from a new years eve dance actually work better than any store-bought ones. Rip the paper ends off at the party and fill your pockets with just the plastic ends ( you need lots as some will last 3 or 4 sets but others give out after 1 or 2). their longevity notwithstanding- they do work well...the best I have had using one was seven yotes come to one stand all at once (2:30 in the morn on a very cold still Jan night).

I like the ELK brand calls but I have some primos and others plus a few custom from the states. The secret is to have a few different ones and change calls quite often so the 'yotes don't get used to one call. Also try to kill every one that comes in so they can't spread the word. It's amazing how quickly a whole pack can become call shy if some get shot at and survive or see others get shot.

I like the fox pro call I have probably the best, but last time I was at princess auto of all places they had a bunch of Johnny Stewart calls for cheap. Grabbed one of each kind. I tie mine up on a kind of necklace, spread out far enough so that they don’t rattle around. Keeps them handy when it’s time to make some racket.

I've had good luck with sceery calls. If you're calling in coke weather stick to open Reed calls as the closed ones tend to freeze up. I also like les Johnsons calls. Ruffi dawg or something like that.
