besides the mags would have to be separated quit a ways to be able to install the mag in the gun, plus have one clipped to it.

sig mags don't sit as far into the gun as AR mags do.
 
Dude -- no opinion change on Fobus -- want to run a polymer holster - Safariland or Blade-Tech.

Shoe -- the Oakley Low Flack's -- they are a lot nicer than their Standard Issue product line footwear (unfortunately since I have a killer discount on that stuff). For footwear, everyones foot is different so while some guys like some types of footwear they may not do it for you.
 
A bit off topic. For those who've been to the sandbox, how the hell did you manage to cope with the heat?? Especially with body armour on?? I would imagine one would become acustomed to the climate eventually.

I got a bunch of 08/07 PMAG's from Magpul - I gave some to 1SFG to replace their defective Hk mags.

But the others guy on my team with M4's have gone PMAG as well now.

The 08/07's are slicker than snot -- the follower glides way better than the earlier ones (not that it affect feeding - but cosmetically its a nicer feeling mag)

They had some issues with some 07/07 mags external dimension sticking -- but none of our guns have any issues - and I have from 03/07 to 08/07 marked mags.

I'm really hoping Wolverine can get these in (pinned to 5 1/2).
I'm replacing my US mags with these and hopefully can do the same to my Canadian stores.

*hopefully my team will be all M4A1 soon and the Sig552 will have gone the way of the dodo as well...

Do the guys not trust it anymore even with the polymer oprod replacement? Are there other issues with it other then the crap steel oprod's that caused the bolts and carriers to have catastrophic failures?
 
For shooting people a 7.5 " barrel is retarded.

We have all the upgrades now (small gas ports on the gas plugs, and a bunch of others things) they seem to run fine now.

However shooting someone with a Sig552 w/ M855 at point blank is not alot better than using a Ruger 10/22
 
This just in: The democrats have taken office, and decided to let enemy combatants die 'less painfully' from the soldiers' new 10/22's. The move is heralded by the Canadian NDP as a step to worlwide peace.
