Pump Action Bottom Ejection

What is slam-firing? In either case, I used to have a Browning - loved it. My buddy and I bought at the same time - he bought with the camo (dura-touch armour?). I thought it was a waste of money at the time, but after a few seasons of hunting salt marshes, mine was in rough shape and his was like new. Also looked way cooler ;-) If you're thinking of waterfowl, and want a bottom-eject pump, I'd say you can't go wrong with the Browning, but shell out for the camo coating. It's got a healthy kick though, compared to some other companies (Benelli supernova pump) that have fancy recoil-reduction technology built in (but side-eject the shells).

Yes thats slam fire.

I would recommend an Ithaca model 37 featherweight. Beautiful shotgun! It is currently the longest running production of any shotgun. Everyone has had one / touched one / seen one. They are smooth, look pretty and function very well. The only problem I've had with mine is its a little tricky getting the cheap 100/ 20$ shells out.. not enough brass on the shell. You get used to it but at first it seems tricky.

Get the M37 and you wont regret it. They have a great resale value and the majority of them come with a slam fire feature -- which is fun putting slugs through!
