I've never heard of anyone in Canada.

Can I assume you have a gen 1 with the plastic shroud?

Why not just order the current Ruger bolt shroud? They are metal now and as good as anything aftermarket.

If you have a gen 2, then why bother to change it?

Gen 2 are plastic gen 3 are metal.

Check out Anarchy Outdoors they have multiple options for shrouds. I have dealt with th a bunch for my RPR accessories and never had an issue.

I have one of each.

Hmm seems you are correct.

So I have the g2 rifle.

Im looking to go aftermarket because something aftermarket will likely have better fit and finish. Replacing to get tighter tolerance from it.
