Supporting you - T.O/Canadian Firearm Ban

I was interviewing for a job in Hamilton and I have a chance to go hunting around Sudbury this fall I need to take a rifle with me I'll go be screwed aren't I lol

How about a total BANN on criminals & their actions... starting with cheap balogna sandwiches 3 meals a day, outside for 1 hour a day. No pool table, TV or video games.

Anyone with more then 60 year sentence get the death penalty, don't talk about it do it....
Why sould we as tax payers pay for there jail time.

if you kill someone in cold blood with a firearm you get the death penalty, you only get one appeal after the 4yrs. if you loose it, the death penalty kicks in and the next year you get the Super Juice & die.

How about using a gun in a crime i.e. robbery, car jacking, gang fight, kidnapping & home invasions, what ever. you get 10 years of "cheap balogna sandwiches 3 meals a day, outside for 1 hour a day. No pool table, TV or video games" No if and or butts about it. No plee bargaining it down. you do the crime you do the time.

Your a known criminal or gang member with a gun you get 5 to 10 yrs of you guessed it... "cheap balogna sandwiches 3 meals a day, outside for 1 hour a day. No pool table, TV or video games. No if and or butts about it. No plee bargaining it down. you do the crime you do the time." make it so jail isn't fun. That is the problem now,

Jail is, time off from a sh!tty life. you get to hang out with your bro's, play games, play pool & watch TV. Talk about the crimes your going to do when you get out & learn new crimes. they have it too easy.
People on the street tell me jail time is a joke and they say in most cases it worth it, as they would do it again if they had too. WTF!

I think we should out-source long term inmates (more than two years before eligible for parole) to China or Russia. The USA has private prisons; why not use lowest bidder private prisons in a foreign country? That would encourage scumbags to stay out of jail!

Excellent idea, but would it go over with the left-winged socialist who run this country?

Maxime Bernier was our guy, but milk producers from Quebec voted him out... Scheer is bland and I don't see how he can win. But Trudeau needs out.

We all need to do something. Send letters, speak to the media, including social media. Educate Joe Public that creating more restrictions for the responsible firearms owners will not reduce or eliminate violence or crime being committed by the unresponsible people. Its not a firearm problem, its a people problem.
Stay safe and shoot straight

We should start with a "March to City Hall" some Sunday a few weeks from now ...

CCFR, CSSA and NFA should apply for the permit ...

I guess, we could all come with NON-restricted UNloaded trigger LOCKED with NO AMMO on anybody and still be in compliance ...

They need to see us "en masse" ...

They want us to leave - buy us out!
Pay 3-4 times market values of our properties and many of us would leave and they can enjoy their beloved gangsters to a perpetual orgasm ....

Based on the historical, we'll be offered a buy-back. Knowing this municipality, it'll be cents on the dollar. The alternative to selling at cut rate prices, relocation, or storing outside of the city?

Criminal status.

Naturally they'll dedicate door kickers to collect from the newly minted felons. Upside, you too can have 300+ gun charges (and 40+ kilos in carfentanil) and get out on $10000.00 bail.

So the Liberals are pretty much taking a page form Pablo Escobar and telling us "plata o plomo". Take their money for our guns or suffer the consequences. Its not an issue of money for me. Its an issue of self reliance and this government cant even manage to order a pizza let alone protect its citizens from within our own borders.

The motto of Socialism is "this time it will work"; same can be said for mass disarmament. All the South American countries where civilians are banned from owning firearms are ruled by narco-terrorists and despotic dictators. You think our thousands criminal gangs (inside and outside parliament) in Canada wont move in on such a soft target?

Its no longer an issue of gun rights, its an issue of keeping Canada strong and FREE!!! No amount of "plata" will make me forget about my duty of my country.

Pro patria.

Thing is, common crime is not an election point. Whether politicians note it or not, it makes little different to their election rate. Hot button topics on the other hand, that's what wins favor. You're either for or against, and it will pull the majority.

People have let go of logic, and therefore, have built the society they deserve. Sadly, there is a minority that wants little to do with such utopia, at least from a 'rights' perspective.

I'm not saying we'll descend into a narco-state like environment - just one of compromised freedoms. We'll be no different from the rest of the monarchy; things are terrible at times, but they put far more makeup on the issue, meaning you're all alone when the odd man out.

May our trials be merciful ones.

I would spend 500.00 a month until we Gun Owners will win.

That's dedication. If one can afford it and stands for the cause; put as much as you can. If every legal gun owner even was to put in a couple dollars it would already be a huge help - let alone $500 per month!

Us is not even top 10 in the world for gun violence per capita. All the top 10 countries.... Have no guns. Let me repeat that. The top ten per capita gun murder countries. Have no or very few legal gun owners..... I grew up as a child in a communist country. I must say, even in communism there wasn't as much propaganda and miss information as I see here. 90% of north America is convinced by CNN and other socialist news channels. Gun laws will help with gun violence??? How many legal guns killed people and how many smuggled guns killed people???? Sounds like Canada needs to fire everyone at Canada customs and make some new rules and training for them.

This is a copy of a email I sent Mayor Tory plus numerous Ottawa politicians including the leader of the NDP. I have communicated with my own MP (Dave MacKenzie) so many times now, I suspect he considers me a pest. I apologize for the length but much of this needed to be said ......

28 July 2018
Mayor John TORY,
Until recently, I thought you were doing a decent job as Mayor. I am not a constituent but I did vote for your party in the Provincial elections a number of years ago when you ran for Premier. Having said that, a suggestion you made to the Federal government to ban all handguns from the city of Toronto, left me with only two choices as to your competence: 1) you are extraordinarily naïve and/or stupid or 2) you are simply a normal politician making noises (that you know are absurd) to quiet the masses . Frankly, I’m not sure which I prefer.
In regard to the suggestion itself, who do you think would be forced to turn over their weapons? The honest, law-abiding, licensed gun owners like me (if I lived in Toronto) Do you think for a second that the gang bangers, the druggies and the ‘mentally unstable’ would turn over their illegal, stolen, smuggled, unlicensed firearms? Of course not! The result would be that gun crime would go on just the same, but thousands of honest, law-abiding individuals would be deprived of another freedom because of a very small number of bad guys and a larger number of not too bright politicians.
You say, why do we have guns at all in our ‘enlightened’ society? The exact same question could be legitimately asked about alcohol, tobacco, & how about cars (or VANS) that will travel over the 100 km/h maximum Ontario speed limit. Try banning smokes or booze or fast cars and see what happens. I am told (and I have no actual proof to support this, but it rings true) that the shooting sports (i.e.: hunting, target shooting, etc) have more actual participants than any other sport in Canada including hockey, golf & baseball.
As a Police officer, Police Chief and head of Corporate Security for 2 major Canadian corporations I have over 40 years experience dealing with all sorts of trouble. As well, I have been a gun owner and shooter for over 50 years, having received my first gun for Christmas when I was 11 or 12 years old. Might I suggest that instead of doing what the Ottawa Liberals are trying to do in Bill C71, ( that is impose further paper laws on the licensed law abiding gun owners) why not do something that will actually have an impact on the problem. Try and get new laws / actions / strategies that will minimize the drug / gang culture. For those who ignore the effort, petition Ottawa to make minimum mandatory sentences (that CANNOT be dealt away by the Crown Attorneys) for any violent crime involving a weapon.
We live in a dangerous world whether you care to admit it or not and Toronto is NO different. Anything can be turned into a weapon as you learned a few months ago with the Yonge St van attack. Also If I recall correctly, an unbalanced young man in Edmonton a few years ago killed 6 or 7 people with a common butcher knife. There are many more options for the mentally unstable or gang bangers to find. The bottom line is that neither you or the police can possibly stop them all. The best you can do is minimize the tragedy by taking intelligent, positive steps. Certainly, not one that some in the public will love but will have absolutely zero impact on the problem. Another tactic would be to seek the cooperation of the media in curtailing their coverage of such tragedies. For the unstable, like the last two incidents, the media attention can be their goal. If a person who is somewhat unbalanced watches any number of tv shows and movies where the heroes kill vast numbers of their opponents without any indication of remorse, then plays his 'shoot em up' video games for hours on end, the real life bad guys become their heroes. In the US, CNN (and some of our media groups) positively salivates when there is another 'incident' of mass destruction. Copy cats feed on the media coverage.
The next time there is a serious motor vehicle collision in which several people are killed, just blame the CARS and not the idot, fool or unstable person behind the wheel who caused it.
PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING !!
R. MITCHELL

PS: I have no illusion that the Mayor will read this note. My hope is that one of his aides will read it and perhaps bring it or some of its contents to his attention. At minimum, put one more tick in the list of those against this ludicrous idea.
