Just for national perspective, there is a Canadian Long Branch No.4 Mk I*T .303 sniper rifle with matching number REL No. 32 Mk III telescope, with No.8 Mk II case (misnumbered) and No.15 transit case going up for sale at a non-sponsor auction site in Bancroft, Ontario. A Garand with provenance to a Canadian designer but one that was never issued is one thing, I really like the looks of a No.4T rifle made in Canada with a Canadian made scope that very likely was used in combat has a completely different cachet.

The 90L8### series of 4Ts were set up in the summer of 1945, and sent to England, where they slumbered until sold off surplus in the 1960s.
