Sig M400, adding ambi safety

Greetings, I will soon have a Sig M400 AR. Strangely it comes with ambi mag release, but not ambi safety... oh well.

So I want to put on in since I am a lefty. I searched yesterday, and I did not get much results. For full disclosure, I am a newbie when it comes to working on an AR. I used one for a long time, but never worked on it.

When looking for parts, should I try to source original SIG parts (and if so do you know of a source)? Would any ambi safety levers do?

hey dude. Any ambi safety will work unless you buy some no name made in china off shore crap (you run the risk of that being out of spec). Take a look at any of the sight sponsors. Lots of options available.

You can't go wrong with the Talon ambi safety. Nice size and textured levers and the 45 degree option is nice too.
