Help Me Identify this Rifle

Can anyone identify this rifle? It's not mine and I've never handled it so I can't provide any more information but I'm curious if anyone knows what it is.

Swedish Ag-42 Ljungmann in 6,5 Swedish.
A very peculiar semi-auto battle rifle designed and fielded in less than a year by a very practical tinkerer. The originator was a mechanical engineer owner of a small business that specialized in... volumetric instruments for fuel handling .

Hokay, "ears" give it away as Ljungman family, probably a "Hakim", made in Egypt in 8mm Mauser.

looks like a swedish semi auto in 6.5 to me Couldn't tell you the model number but we see a few of them around here.

Hakim is a beefed-up and slightly modified Ljungmann version in 8mm.
The drum elevation rear sight on this one is very different from the Hakim's simple slider and elevator. The receiver cover's graspimg bosses are typical of the swedish Ljungmann. The Hakim's are simple serrated pads at the rear of the cover.

Its a Ljungmann AG42B, a Hakim has a very distinct muzzle brake. Also, I'd recognise that beech stock anywhere.

Neat rifle, I have one myself. Good shooter.

Definitely a Ljungman. The muzzle and break give it away. On the Hakim, the break is removeable. I have a Ljungman myself and she shoots amazing. Cheers,

I beleive its an Ag-42, not an Ag-42B. The "B" model had serrations on the receiver cover. Hope this helps.

Guarantees to be an AG42b. The serrations are on the AG42 or the Hakim only.
