i miss winter

When its summer I wish it was winter. When its winter I wish it was summer. Never happen. I like FALL. Not so hot and no bugs. The first week of October is the best. I can smell winter coming and i know deer hunting is real close.
 
Winter in July

The following are two pictures I took last week. I had to go south to a customer's site to look at a problem with one of our products. I took a picture of the following puddle to prove how cold it was. Yes that's ice!

Middle of Argentina (La Toma, middle of nowhere). They have their winter now. I had to check out a couple of hog barns. While in the office of the barn we had to wear gloves to keep our hands warm. :(

In order to get into the facility (biosecurity) we have to shower in and change into their cloths in the building (ours were on the 'dirty side' of the shower. One day I was in the 'dirty' side of the counter in the office. Since I didn't want to shower in to take a leak I went out doors and into the field. I flushed out two doves. :eek: Argentina is known for it's dove hunts. Unfortunately I was unable to try it.

No doubt the fall is the best part of the year. Just love the smell.

Interesting looking place. Some places here have the same proceedures!
 
If the bugs are that bad see if you can buy a couple of old 45 gallon drums of DDT off ebay.The only good thing about summer is the sights at the beach.
 
ah yes.

I know what your saying about being eaten by bugs "black flies,deer flies" etc etc.

But I still love the summer!
But hey..... hunting season is just around the corner.
;)
