Some of us didn't get to play with Barbie when we were small, and we pay double to have sparkly Glocks. I'm absolutely OK with that, if it makes you happy and harms no-one.
 
I've thought about doing something similar, but a lot more tastefully. OD green slide, light gray frame, style the sharkmouth to follow the lines of the slide's radiusing... my dreamshot would be if any of the surviving Flying Tigers have a charitable endowment set up like a scholarship fund the way the Doolittles did, to create a limited run of ninety-nine, one modeled after each of the original AVG Tomahawks, and raffle them off as a fundraiser, each gun being accompanied by a model of its counterpart aircraft and historical notes on both that plane and any pilots strongly associated with it. (Keeping one for myself, of course; probably Boyington's since he was a local college boy, getting his degree from UW in Seattle.)

These... ugh. They just look Amateur Hour.
