the Radom Vis wz35 2018

Sup all, about VIS, i understand my fascination with it (being born there). What makes it desirable for you guys?

Do you think once they start making them will see any in Canada?

Where did you get the idea that the VIS vz. 35 would be available in Canada? The Radom factory website clearly says:"THIS MODEL IS NO LONGER MANUFACTURED AND OFFERED FOR TRADE". To the best of my knowledge they manufactured a small batch around 2015-2016 sold only to pre-registered customers.
Since then I read one info from December 2017 in The Military Magazine: h ttps://www.milmag.eu/news/view?news_id=438 that the VIS wz. 35 pistol would return to Fabryka Broni's offer and would be available in second half of 2018 and its price should not exceed 4000 PLN (1000 EUR). So far, absolutely nothing happened so I doubt that it would ever materialize.

That's exactly what I'm referring to in my post above. Notice that this info is from December 2017! Absolutely nothing has happened since then. Nothing on the FB Radom "Lucznik" website. I'm inclined to call it "fake news". Although, I'll be visiting the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland, this coming October so I'll try to get some clarity on the issue.

Nice, Forgotten Weapons has couple videos on this too. More-less same info and good pics. Do you own a pre-war or later production one?

I have I believe, a Grade 2 produced by the Germans between 1939 and 1941 3 lever with seriously super nice finish, I traded it from a fellow GN here on the forums, He was a super nice guy to let such a nice one go to a younger collector (me) - if anyone reading this thinks different let me know, im still learning ...

Some pics of it here if you like to see it.

That is really nice condition. Did it come with a story?

Im polish so for me it is polish legend. Always wanted one and now i have one. 36 polish eagle. If they will ever be avaliable here i will buy one.

I was just wondering if there was any news on this. According to the magazine article, they were supposed to start production by now.

I would not believe the production stories and promises abut new Vis 35 from Poland. What they did was a small run of the Vis 35 for crazy price ,not great business for manufacturer or buyers ...
Vis 35 was designed specially for 9 mm cartridge so it makes great 9 mm vintage historical pistol, it is slimmer than all 1911's when made for luger cartridge.
There is not any patent protection, so why not manufacture them in China for example? It is a metric made gun , and price would be $ 350-
