Some shooting disciplines require loading 1, 2, and 5 rounds at a time only.
Also, Alberta hunting regulations stipulate 5 round magazine capacity for big game in repeating rifles. Not just loading 5 rounds, but limiting to 5 round capacity.
I bought my 5 round enbloc at a Gun-show, but I do believe you might be able to order the 5 round enblocs from Brownells or Sarco out of the US?
Someone was selling some on the CGN EE not too long ago as well?
Maybe contact Northern Republic Magazine. They used to carry 5 round enblocs as well.

Thats not wholly correct. The actual regulation is: It is unlawful to use an auto-loading firearm that has the capacity to hold more than 5 cartridges in the magazine.
As such, you’re only limited while using a semi-automatic firearm. There are no limits for a manual action firearm.
