HK G36E Range Report

There easy to find when you know collectors... Just have to look at the right place. 14000$ is insane... I would pay that for another MP7 perhaps but not the G36...

there shouldnt be any reasons why we cant get these except for HK and German laws
Combining German laws and Canadian laws makes it so that its pretty much prohibitive to do any sort of business with hk rifles.

But what's a MP7 that shoots only semi-auto and holds 5 rounds? Might as well buy a Keltec CMR 30.

It's like owning a Dodge Viper but the speed limit is 50km/h.

.....Pretty sure this is the one from Wanstalls.

Nope, nothing to do with Wanstalls. My G36 was a Private sale that I pursued for months. I am selling because I need the funds elsewhere, otherwise I'd veŕy happily keep it. That said, if some other deals go through I may still pull the ad and hang onto mine. I dunno where all of these HK collectors are with cheaper G36s, but I sure would have liked to meet them when I was looking!

I used to own one. Semi auto and 5 rds mags

Semi auto was fine to me, but the 5rds mags... It was wat it was... Sucked

Supply and demand dictates the price. $14k may be insane but to someone who needs a G36E to round out a collection it is a deal. Although, as mentioned already, $11.5k is a real deal. The same rationale applies for UMP’s (not clones) that are going for $10k. You have to pay to play.

Wanstalls had their listed for 12k with optic and had one earlier for 10k I believe.

Remember that the Wanstalls buyers paid GST ($500 on $10k) and shipping. $11.5K is my ask, however the price is negotiable. I have some modest discretion with the final number. That said, lowball offers will be ignored based on my judgement and tolerance for silliness from moment to moment...

I call it the retard factor. I have physical seen an invoice for these. LE cost is $1850.

LE can also access select-fire and suppressors. However, your typical CGN collector is not a LE purchasing officer. So what is your point? How much of a premium have you paid for your "prancing ponies" and other Colt markings over the years? Are you telling us you've never paid a dime over LE pricing? Cool story if so.....

way to make friends, calling everyone who has privately owned a G36 a retard....

They sold fast. Anybody know where they came from? And are there more to come?

I haven't seem em go for that low, for over 5 years (I do remember when they were more like 6-7)

Probably just a few movie guns that got sold off, maybe company went out of business and didn't care about the end-user certs from HK anymore.

They do sneak in from time to time, just like that big batch of MP7's that were going to come in for around 2 grand a pop... until a bunch of people starting asking questions and the movie company (Or whomever it was, not even sure it was a movie company it was so long ago) bringing them in decided to say screw it and abandon the project...

The price will continue to rise as buyers continue to pay.

The price is going to continue to drop when guys buy them, get buyers remorse and then sell them 2 weeks later on the EE. There's another one up there now that was just purchased recently, being sold at a loss.
