From the Questions and Answers section on this product:

I've confirmed it's not authentic. Price was good so I thought I'd give it a go, but the packaging is flimsy plastic which is the first thing that stood out as a red flag; If it's authentic, where's the quality in the packaging? I've never seen flimsy packing on a quality product. The paper the label is printed on is thin, which doesn't meant much but it has one spelling mistake, and although it's a very well done fake, it matches the Chinese fake #6 on maglula's website (http://www.maglula.com/faq/). It's very subtle difference... With the number of pictures maglula posts on their website, it's easy to make a clone look like the real thing. see less

Just a heads up if you're looking for the real thing.

Just a heads up if you're looking for the real thing.

It is fulfilled by Amazon, will let you know when I get it about the quality.

If it's fake, will go back, anything fulfilled by Amazon is worry free returns.

So, I looked at my amazon history and I bought one of these for $25 and it’s listed now for $12. So, assuming that they don’t change product providers on the same listing, then this is the same one I bought. It looks legit to me ... not that I’m a counterfeit expert or anything, but it has details like patent numbers and Uplula markings on a few different parts that I’m not sure a counterfeit would bother with? Seems perfectly functional. I don’t remember what the packaging looked like, but I’ve seen some Otis products go really cheap on amazon too that showed up in basically a plastic bag and look identical to the store bought Otis products that I have.

It showed up with a few scratches on it, but otherwise seems functional. Again, I’m not claiming to be any kind of counterfeit expert. I might pick up another one.

it is sold by two sellers, both fulfilled by Amazon, which makes it a secure purchase (no hassle returns if needed)

I ordered one of each as there was limit of one, and I believe these are great gifts for 12$ too :)

for 12 bucks if its loads the mags ok.....who cares ?? Its not like the design was invented by an Aeronautical Engineer. I'm sure a copy will work just fine.

So, I did some looking around and I guess Maglula asks people specifically to not use amazon because of counterfeits. The fake #6 posted above has terrible pics on the Maglula site, but I hound it on another where it had 8mm to 45acp written on it lol.

The one I got looks like that but says 9mm. Maybe a corrected counterfeit? I’ve got a definite real one somewhere, but it’s buried under a ton of gear at the moment.

Fulfilled by Amazon items are zero risk purchases, returns are worry free, they will even return you the shipping if you paid for it.

It is true that on Amazon marketplace there's lots of scam sellers too, but fulfilled by Amazon items are a safe bet.

Fulfilled by Amazon doesn't mean it's genuine you silly lads, it just means that the seller has his stock at the Amazon warehouse and pays a fee for Amazon to ship it and make it available for prime.

If it's not sold and shipped by Amazon itself, it's not real. Good luck enjoying a Lula with Chinese pot metal feed lips, hope it works out good for ya. I have a real one and have been using it for almost 5 years now, the brass scraping off the lips have polished the steel, and it still works like I bought it.

No one ever talked about Genuine insurance for the item when Fulfilled by Amazon.

I said it's a safe bet to purchase, and that you have a 30 days worry free return if the performance or quality of the item is not adequate.
