Looking for a compact handgun for my wife who has small hands and is having difficulty racking the slide on my M&P45 and Jericho.
Anyone have experience with the Creed.
seems like a good option

I don't have the Creed but I have his predecessor the Walther PPX. It has the same dimensions as the Creed. The latter is only more rounded. It is a LARGE pistol and I doubt that your wife would be happy with her small hands. More importantly, both the Creed and PPX have a high bore axis which require quite a bit of training to shoot it precisely. I'm over 200lbs man with rather strong arms and for the past 2 years of shooting the PPX I still have a problem with achieving more than 85% at the 20-yard target. All in all I wouldn't recommend the Creed for a smallish lady.

My brother has a PPX and it's a nice, cheap, accurate pistol. That said, it's not particularly small... I have a PPQ M1 Navy. It is VERY accurate, and accomodates smaller hands well. If her hands are VERY small you may want a single stack (1911) type or a revolver.

If you are looking at very small, I would suggest a Beretta model 71 in .22 LR. Works very well and runs everything I've been able to put thru it. Gets a bit smoky after 200 or so rounds in a session.

1911 was another option. I think I'll take her to a local shop and have her try them out before I order.
Thanks everyone for your input

S&W's fine M&P 9mm comes with small grips, and i would also suggest Glock's new Gen5 with small grips. I think 9mm is probably the way to go caliber-wise.
If she positively cannot rack the slide, i might offer the very nice Ruger GP100 4.2" barrel & S&W's 4.2" 686/586 revolver.
Revolvers are still awesome....

I helped a 71 year old lady learn how to rack any pistol (and she has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands)

Step 1 Hold gun close to chest. Gun is to be gripped sideways.
Step 2 Firmly grip the slide and the grip
Step 3 Push the Grip forward (IE Rack the grip, not the slide)

Worked like a champ for her.

If it's a Walther you want, the P99 is an option. It's not a big gun, has small grips and granted I'm not small, but do find the springs to be lighter than other pistols. They can be pricey because of the name, but, deals can be had on the EE.

Yeah, I've got my eye on the Walther P99 AS!
