got my order today, I ordered one from each low price seller, both fulfilled by Amazon.

They are somehow different a bit, one says 2015/10, the other 2016/02 on the label

see below the differences, pictured each with it's label (2015 or 2016)

I have no idea which comes from which seller as they arrived together.

maybe in 2015 the barch was different than the one from 2016 ?

I'll email the manufacturer with the pics to check.

But they both seem solid and sturdy enough to do the job.

right, the one that is on sale now for around 40$ and ships from China is not fake, but the one that I got with the next day delivery, eligible for Amazon prime, fulfilled by Amazon.ca was the fake

anyway, I have 2 now, and they seem great, work flawlessly too

Well if they are fakes, they look as close to the real thing as mine does, which came with my S&W M&P Range Kit and I am sure they wouldn’t package a fake.

Fake or not, it appears adequate enough. Got mine as a spare anyways.

Amazon Prime delivered my 2 today. They work on labour Day!

Mine are the 2105 version.

If they are "fake" I am guessing that they are made in China by the same outfit that makes the "real" ones.

Well worth the $10 each.

Close - I do reload, so not exactly 10G - maybe 5. I'd say that the reloading gear paid for itself though.

Just got mine today... compared to my (real) pink one.

The metal spring/parts look/feel the same. The differences I can see are rougher edges on the top "arch", the the 'lock' button, and generally rougher finishing on the center edges where the two plastic halves meet up. The black one weighs 1.5g less than the pink one (73.2g).

As already mentioned, there are subtle difference between the two, and likely due to a model change from 2015/2016.

FWIW: Metal where it should be metal... so for 10$ no brainer.
