they were on a few days ago, last week, when I posted this thread they were 12$, then went down to 7.95, then 8, then they disappeared in that Item listing.

others at 14$ are now available, Prime eligible, fulfilled by Amazon, no tax

I ordered one of these (14.99) to compare to the ones from 8$, will arrive Thursday, will let you know if different :)

Got today the one that costs 15$, It's dated 2016/02. I got exactly the same one for 8$ earlier, but with a different barcode on the white label (same item number), I guess that differentiates the sellers.

So it seems fake I would say, as packaging is very weirdly sealed, also is missing some of the design elements on the original.

But these are also sturdy enough t do the job in my view.

I will be returning this one, will keep the ones I got for 8$ each.

Mine arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised. If they are fakes, they are some of the best ever. I had a spare genuine sitting here still in the package and compared it to the ones purchased on Amazon. They are absolutely identical to the genuine version, unless I bought a fake from a reputable dealer at a cost over 3x more(very doubtful). The packaging is identical, so is the color pkg insert and text. The only difference being on the UPC code. So unless these things fly apart on the first use, I am happy with the purchase. In the mean time its nice to have a few spares.

Given the tooling required to make these things and all the bits and pieces, including injection molding dies, springs, metal stampings and the like. It is extremely unlikely that it is an outright counterfeit. Far more likely that it is an over run or a run was considered sub standard and rejected, and someone is dumping old stock, or even a bunch of them that went out the back door of the factory that made them. I have had one for a coupe of years, but @ $8 it will do as a spare in one of my other range bags.

what is amazing is that Amazon allows some fakes to sell on Amazon as fulfilled by Amazon and Prime eligible items.

anyway, I do not complain, I got 2 , they are slightly different, but do the same task ;)

will report if any breaks prematurely
 
Made in Israel by Uplula Ltd. Got mine today and it is identical to the one I have except my first one was designed for loading .22 mags and cost me $25.00US. Not sure where all the talk about fakes is based upon other than some paid a lot more for the same thing.

I bought a Rolex in Singapore for about $40, and it does say Rolex on the dial, and it does work, but it’s a fake. I bought one of these Upulas, and I think it’s a good knockoff, but I’m fairly certain(99%j it’s a knockoff.

There goes my virginity. Welcome to the 21st Century Bob. The little lever that opens my new one is just enough different I should have know. If it and I last another 10 years I will feel I got my monies worth. :>) I knew there was an alternative to buying from Trumps world.

I have two originals from Zahal. Bought the first one 5 years ago, the second one last year. The fake one from Amazon just arrived. It is a fake for sure. I used it today to load 200 rounds. I can't tell the difference other then some aesthetics. It works as good as the originals.

It is back at $14.99, free shipping with Amazon Prime and fulfilled by Amazon.

I bought a couple at $10, probably fakes, but they work fine.
