Here are some pics of my 6.5 CM Magpul Stag- it is extremely well put together. Quality well above the price point. The trigger is a very crisp, and fairly light 2 stage trigger. I wont be replacing it, it's great. The pmags drop free no issue, and the overall cycling of the action is incredibly smooth. I cannot find any imperfections- all components are fit tight, and the finish of the rifle is superb. This rifle competes with the Modern Hunters at half the price. Albeit you aren't supporting an awesome Canadian company, but for those of us who don't want to fork out 5-6 grand, this is an incredible option.

The plastic case it comes in is quite nice, but not incredibly strong. Although to hear Canada post put a barrel through one is incredibly troubling and I would've followed up with them had it been mine- completely unacceptable handling and/or transportation. I will do a follow up review after visiting the range but can already tell this will be one of my favourites.

Will post range review this weekend hopefully. I'm expecting sub-MOA is possible with the factory Hornady 147gr ELD match ammo.

Ordered in July, called about a week and a half ago to switch my order to a 6.5 and they said they may have that specific one downstairs- shipped out that day. I think I got really lucky. Balance is good- it's overall a heavy rifle but that is to be expected with the configuration

Damn! I know what I will be pinch pennies for next year! That is pure ###. Although, I'm not sure I would go 6.5 Creedmoor for a semi auto.

It was right around $2500-$2600 (cant remember exactly as I originally ordered the .308 and changed my order and paid the extra $200) all in I believe- I went 6.5 CM because of the far superior configuration vs the standard .308 (2 stage Stag trigger, 416r Stainless heavy barrel, etc). Plus this rifle is definitely sub-Moa capable and definitely a 1000+ yard rifle hence the 6.5 Creedmoor.

The one and only con to 6.5CM vs .308 is ammo availability/cost. I figured if I'm spending over 4k on a setup, I shouldn't be penny pinching when it comes to ammo.

What’s the shortest length of pull with that Magpul PRS? I’m a big fan of fixed stocks but it looks like the rear of the receiver is longer than an AR15.

Nice looking stick. Thinking about the bare bones .308 version myself.

Seems like LOP is around 16in which for me is perfect being 6'4. No range time yet but optic is mounted and she looks mint. I'll update album with pic of optic

16” is extreme for LOP when most rifles are between 13.5-14”. Glad it works in your case but pretty much means a fixed stock isn’t feasible for most of us.
