You need a new bolt head and firing pin. Your firing pin hole in the bolt face is waaay too big. Contact Kodiac for the parts with pictures of the bolt face. And don't fire your rifle until you get the new parts as that problem can be unsafe. They must have had a run of defective bolt heads.

I took some better pics as posted below...do you still think the firing pin hole is too big?

I took a pic or two of a few rounds that never fired the other day. There are marks on the bullet, but I couldn't say for sure if they were caused by feeding/ejection or from jamming into the lands. I will also include a pic of fired brass.

Canadian made FN C1 "ran correct right off the bat" well enough to be adopted by 70 countries.
 
Well I took it back out today and things ran better. The only issues I faced were the plastic mags still slide out of locked position after firing the first round. I tightened the mag release button down to where the screw is protruding out of the button to the point your pushing on it instead of the button to drop a mag. It will go in further without binding on the other side, but I don't think it should have to go to the point your mag release is is the end of a bolt. The metal 10 round xcr pistol mags function flawlessly though. I can see where the plastic mags look as though the catch on them has worn the edge off slightly. Not sure if that's the issue or not...Pic below.





As to the issue of primer pieces in the bolt, I switched to ppu 55gr fmj's today and put 40 rounds through it. I took the bolt apart and found no brass inside like I did with the other bulk pack of remans. I think in the end the issue there may be more of an ammunition problem then firearm issue.

I would say it looks border line. Just keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger you will know what to do.

Most certainly not. Again, a couple of rifles have had minor issues which are going to be fixed under warranty. Why are there so many drama queens on this forum? As soon as one rifle has an issue everyone jumps on the "they are all crap " bandwagon and I am pretty tired of it.

I see you are unfamiliar with colt canada firearms.
 
I have contacted them and will send the rifle back to them on Monday at their request so they can have a look. They have been very good about it.
 
Why Is everyone else getting their rifles but they haven't started my order? Paid deposit months ago and see nothing but other people receiving..

Unless you ordered on the first couple of days they went up for presale, then your going to have to wait. The pre order list was at over 2000 the last time I heard a number. I can't verify if that number is correct. I imagine a couple of hundred were ordered probably on the first day alone.

Correct. I ordered on the first day and just received it.

If you only put a deposit down, and not the full amount, you still have quite the wait ahead of you.

Only about 10% of the rifles that were ordered have been delivered. You are far from alone in not having yours.

The rifle that was made in Canada was not used in 70 countries. Anyway, there is no comparison between a government-owned arsenal setting up to produce large quantities of an already engineered and tested design with the effort to bring this new revised design to the Canadian commercial market.

Ummnnn, no they did not. Collector Grade books has 2 great books on the subject.

There were some major teething problems with the FN-FAL and the C1 derivative.

The first production C1 rifles were issued in 1956 - Production was shut down for about a year(59-60 IIRC) while they tried to solve the bore diameter and firing pin problems, then they recalled all of them and upgraded them to the new standard.
