Gatehouse looses his mind

$3500 is just gatehouse being silly, but I've seen a HUGE demand for the 375 Ruger rifles. Our gunshop has several on order, but they have already been spoken for- however, we have had people offer us up to $2000 to bump the other guys off the list, and sell them the rifle instead. Of course, that would be unethical, and we have not done that, just ordered more rifles.

The 375 Alaskan will be a big seller, at least in Western Canada.

If Remington offered the 7400/7600 in 375Ruger it might be a hit here in the east as well.

I'm serious. .

D*mn you guys for messing with my mind...

I'm now thinking a semi-auto 375 Ruger...

I have a 7400 carbine in 30-06 now, that after a couple trips to the warranty depot works flawlessly...

Hmmmm I wonder...

We gots black bear and moose two. I don't shewt black bear. Thems for tourists. :)

.

do we have energy figures for the .375Ruger @ 30ft? want to make sure it will punch though the oildrum and kill the bear while it feasts on donuts.... I suppose a FMJ would be best for this application? Recoil must be thought of too, can;t be getting knock out of the treestand and fall on the bait, honeyburn is hard to get out of primos realtree scentlock I;m told....

:p

What's wrong ?? ..... Don't like baiting and treestands??

I suppose I wouldn't either if I could roadhunt over vast clearcuts like you folks do.

.

yup, I supposed you'd enjoy clearcuts more if the shots were all under 50yrds from a fixed position?

I'll check back here tonight after my afternoon dive and see where this thread goes :D

Hey sir, if you're looking for an expensive way to blow your shoulder off with a .375 I'm currently working on a wildcat made from a .505 Rimless Magnum case necked to .375...

- Dave.

Dave, your "currently working on..." should read "pipe dreaming up again...", no? :p When even one of your projects comes to pass, I'll say good job, but until that point you'd be well off to stop mentioning peculiar things that will never be. ;) When it's done, then tell us.

Clearly, they are in high demand by discerning Canadian hunters:cool:
Everyone wants 375 Ruger. grin
