I recently bought a Minox ZP5 5x25x56 scope with the MR4 reticle from Go Big Tactical. I was originally thinking of getting another Schmidt & Bender, but after talking with Tom he suggested that I give the Minox ZP5 a try. I tested it out on the weekend and was not disappointed, the Minox glass is absolutely amazing compared to the S & B which is saying a lot. The MR4 reticle on the Minox is great as well, it is nice and fine and yet very easy to see, even at lower magnification. You can easily spend another $500 with other scope manufactures to get a similar reticle. In conclusion I am very happy with the scope so far as well as the service from Tom at Go Big Tactical. I've now bought 2 scopes and a few other assorted items from him and he really knows how to take care of his customers.

MR4 is very similar to the SKMR3 on my Kahles. The SKMR3 is probably the biggest reason I went with the Kahles. It’s an unreal scope, especially the tracking, only negative is it does show some CA. With that reticle and great glass in the Minox, I may have to look into one... if the tracking is as sound as the Kahles. Which I’m sure many agree is the most important aspect of a precision optic.

I'm sure others will chime in Camoman1, the tracking on the Minox is excellent. Certainly if you decide you are interested in one let us know!

I just switched from MOA to MRAD and it's actually a pretty easy system to learn and the calculation for estimating range in my opinion is easier than with MOA.

ZP5 MR4 is the real deal for a top tier scope. I have put this scope beside S&B, vortex razor gen 1 and 2, Kahles, tangent theta, and premier. Oh and also Leupold mk5. The glass is as good or better than the S&B the turrets are crisp and feel good in the hand, eye box is great no tunneling on high mag, as stated above the mr4 ret is very similar to the skmr3 which is one of the best. The paralux is very positive and not mushy when adjusting. The price that these scopes sell for makes them very hard to beat when considering the company they share as a tier one optic.
