Shipping shotgun

Many times what actually happens at that intersection is there's an accident with two idiots pointing at each other saying it's the other guys fault. The rules are easy to follow, and, if there's a problem, much easier to have it resolved. Most of us already own a trigger lock and a hard case. I'm not saying I agree with or support CP (I think many of their policies are stupid), but it's not very hard to comply.

Sister was in the post office today and the girls asked every person, where there dangerous goods in the package and where there aerosol containers. This was not happening last month.

I have been asked a couple of times in the past if there were any dangerous goods that I was sending. Firearms are not dangerous goods so the answer was no. Ammunition on the other hand is dangerous goods.

It is on their website. This one is new but they have had a similar document for several years. It used to mention something about how the ends of the package had to be reinforced. Don't think I am allowed to post the link.

Yes sir It has not changed in at least 10 years maybe more since I remember almost 10 years ago to the month ( a gun for my brothers birthday to ship to western canada) having quite a discussion with them over shipping in a cardboard gun box since if you follow this as written that would not be allowable but is
One thing they are starting to get a bit picky on here however is a trigger lock and have accepted the zip tie so far
Cheers

Ours is a small town post office and we have never been asked or over heard someone else being asked. “ Big Brother” must have sent the “ hard word “ around to all.

The recent press on the Fedex shipment of military arms slipping through the cracks will not help matters. I wouldn't be surprised to see tougher policies being introduced by the nanny state.
