When is a 700 Rem BDL NOT a BDL?

My BDL didn't have sights from factory. They have come in many variations over the years.

They really are beautiful rifles.... own 4 bdls and an adl. All shoot great, look great and feel great. Really a well thought out rifle!

Not all BDL rifles had" skip line" checkering......Rifles from 1962 to early 1970's had what most would describe as "normal checkering".

There are variations in the CDL lines as well. Lately they have been turned out with deep, matte bluing and an American style straight comb stock of dark walnut. But, the CDL has also been turned out in a stainless and fluted barrel, some with floor plate, some with a drop mag. Another variation within the CDL line is the girth on the pistol grip, some being very chunky while others are extremely slim.
