Anyone out there have a Zastava rifle with right hand european stock?
Is it truly ambidextrous?
I know they have left hand models, but I still like to shoot right hand bolts, even though I have to shoot left.
Owners replies please......

I don't own any (left handed) but I handled several so, no, they are not ambidextrous, they are really left handed.
I guess that someone used to it can shoot it to the right, just like the inverse is true.

Another guy to chime in and say, noticeable cast and cheek piece in the way. This is as a lefty shooting the RH version of these rifles. I sold my 458 as it was brutal getting punched in the cheek. The LH version of the same cartridge is leaps and bounds better.

i have both and unless you find the synthetic stock that came with the stainless and some other versions you will be using right version for right left for left ...

maybe the new european stock style that they received are better if no cheeks and no cast but i doubt. luckily for the lefty we are still able to get a commercial mauser 98 for that price full of steel and wood ...
