I'm also a new Fallout fan, just started playing Fallout 3 New Vegas a while ago and fell in love with the NCR (New California Republic) faction. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/New_California_Republic
One of the rifles they use is the NCR Service Rifle (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Service_rifle) and I always thought to own one but didn't know how, til I saw this: https://www.ar15.com/forums/ar-15/NC...eted/4-720053/
Can anyone tell me if someone here can do something similar? I have the rifle ready Colt M16A1, just hoping if someone can make the kit?

Can you re-link to the post? Can't seem to find it. If you don't mind it not being perfect the Brownells Retro rifle will be the closest and may end up NR, main difference is it's an AR10 pattern rifle. I believe Boyds also makes the wood furniture which should drop right in.
 
Brownells Retro furniture set in Brown would be cost effective and look pretty cool.
It isn't wood though - still polymer, which is probably a good thing and honestly closer in line with Fallout's 'retro futuristic' feel. IMHO.
 
Damn that is cool! To bad I never liked the service rifle at all. Always Anti material rifle and armor piercing/explosive ammo for those pesky death claws!
