CZ 75B dovetail optic mount opinions?

Hi Folks!
I'm looking to put a red dot on my CZ 75B NE, (old eyes….) Smithies I’ve talked to say there’s not enough slide to mill.
I know springer precision makes one.
Any experience, recommendations or opinions?

I have the Springer Dovetail RMR mount for my SIG P320 and it is a solid, well-machined sight base. You will get your $$ worth from Springer Precision.
