Which Current rifle manufacturer has best manufacturing & quality control

Blaser, Sauer (excluding Mod 100 series), Mauser (excluding M18 series), Kimber, and Weatherby (excluding Vanguard series) rifles are all top notch. Quality comes with a price tag.

Once upon a time I believed the more you pay the higher the quality of product, then I learned the expensive way.
 
On an older model of gun the Sako AV was quality. And I've favored Browning at it's price point over other production rifles. Savage are not often pretty rifles but they do shoot well. CZ makes some nice looking rifles and the 452 are accurate. I can't say much for Remington and usually avoid them, but the 597 are decent shooters. Ruger lives off of the 10-22 and beyond the #1 - I can't say too much about what they are offering at the present time. Tikka - the nicer looking rifles were produced about 30 years ago, with wooden stocks. Sometimes it comes down to budget and price point and that usually determines what is bought and used by the average hunter.

I'd say Kimber definitely fulfills the criteria. I think they hold their own for factory offerings at their price point. I'm a huge fan of their action and the more I get to know it the more I enjoy it. Definitely a great well made and consistent rifle company from what I can tell right now.
 
In order of price;
-Howa (Weatherby Vanguard) is a solid gun for not a lot of money.
-Tikka is a benchmark. Simple, accurate, reliable. I have yet to see one that won’t perform, plastic and all.
-Sako 75/85 is all that and a bag of chips. The quality is apparent and it is worth every penny.
The list could go on but my pocketbook can’t so my list stops here...wanted to put Browning on the list but just couldn’t bounce one of the others out.

They’re everything they’re supposed to be — at least as far as I’m concerned. Could not be happier with mine. Fit and finish is flawless, and it shoots the lights out. They’re pricey, but definitely worth looking at if someone is in the market for a high end sporter.
 
Decide on a brand and model of rifle that is chambered for a cartridge that is appropriate to your needs. Choose the rifle you'll purchase from as many examples of that rifle that you can find, in order to get the best one.

Never mind, just follow Neo's lead. Wow! What a nice looking rifle! If I could only own one . . .

I own both a 101 and 202 Sauers and would have to disagree about your exclusion. Although not nearly the same amount of gun than a 200 series, the 100 series are dead nuts accurate and very reliable, probably most comparable to a Sako and priced similarly. Given a choice when hunting I will often select the 101, although not as fancy it feels nimbler and fits like a high quality comfy pair of slippers instead of a pair expensive penny loafers.

From what I see now, real quality rifles,that having everything working as it should,shoot well, are well finished, and show consistent QC are hard to find.As an example I throw out the issue with Sako ejection on $2000 rifles, finish peeling off rubberized stocks ( including on $3800 Carbonlights) from various companies.Sloppy fit and finish on many Remington’s, Brownings, Winchester’s I look at.Rough metal work and plastic everywhere.
Who still makes consistently great rifles??Anybody?

Most major firearm manufactures have had their issues. If I was going to purchase a firearm off the self today, which is the best bang for the buck, it's the Winchester model 70, conception 2006.
