Can a Non res get a grizzly bear tag in BC ?

Closed in October to appease the urban voting base. But even before that, a non-resident needed a guide outfitter and one of their allocations to hunt Grizzly.

While this isn't wrong, didn't their poll results say something like 80% of residents and 65% of hunters were in favor of a full ban? It seems that a lot of rural people were also on board with a full closure, although that is largely conjecture.

65% of hunters agreed?

Are we supposed to believe their polling numbers now too?

Their polls also indicated that two elections ago, they would form government and they didn’t then and only hang on by a thread with the greens now.

I never heard the second figure but it doesn’t surprise me. 95% of people who would indentify themselves as hunters would be on the highly casual end of the sport compared to those concerned with Grizzly hunting and who did it. It’s like saying 65% of drivers see no use for four wheel drives, or anything but minivans.
