I was hunting on a little little island(it is a piece of rock and 2 trees) from a public lake which i have really easy access from my cottage with a boat. a women which is about 500 meter away is yelling at me saying i am hunting in her back yard? i was confused, are all lake public? i am really skeptical she own the lake. ( my cottage is right on the same lake too)..

your opinion needed. thanks

Report her to the MNR, she is not allowed to interfere with your legal hunt. I once had a women come out and start yelling at me because I was fishing in the bay where her cottage was.

Call the MNR next time. She was breaking the law.

^^ This ^^

Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act

(a) tampering with traps, nets, bait, firearms or any other thing used for hunting, trapping or fishing;

How is yelling interfering with this?
Did the yelling scare any game birds away or simply annoy the Op on the small island?
the drama on the beach is just that drama.
Ignore the drama and youll do fine
Let her call the MNR or the OPP or who ever she wants.
As long as you know the Op) that you are 100% in a legal position to be hunting , you are good to go.
