Nice informative video. My concern is why can't we seem to get these firearms in Canada. Or in my case Ontario. I placed an order through a retailer. Waited for 4 months with no rifle delivered. Got very tired of hearing ( Oh they are on back order). That is such a poor and perplexing excuse!!
Enough already. Come on.

The US market takes up most of the guns produced every year. The Canadian market isnt big enough for the Americans to really care about...we get what is "left over" per say . Doubt this will change any time soon.

The US market takes up most of the guns produced every year. The Canadian market isnt big enough for the Americans to really care about...we get what is "left over" per say . Doubt this will change any time soon.

the unfortunate part is due to licensing/shipping/exchange issues, some dealers/distributors won't order until they have "enough" orders to make it worth the money. Then once they order, their SKU's go into production runs....sometimes those don't overlap with production schedules so the delay occurs. we don't necessarily get the odds and ends, but when a dealer down south is ordering hundreds of guns - as previously said, they may get priority.

Found the Henry Big Boy All weather in 44 mag to be expensive, heavy, clunky and not that accurate.
Action was smooth. Build quality was good as was fit and finish.
Didn't like the tube mag loading system.
Sold it off after a month.

I've got a 44 mag mares leg by Henry. It's a bit ackward to hold and shoot but it's built really nice and the quality shows

Always wanted a big boy in .44 mag, and I do like how they are made state side as well.
