KelTec SU16A restricted or not?

Guess it's time to take the wraps off this then...

The change on their website is due to AEI working with Kel-Tec to bring their product to Canada, including the SU-16A as a non-restricted rifle. They told us on Friday they would update the website and other marketing materials, I admit I wasn't expecting a change that quickly! :D.

Keep your fingers crossed for no hangups.

Cheers,
DT

The Kel Tec website says it is 470.1. Look it up.

Yeah, cause the CFC really follows a companies specs or sales information when evaluating firearms "S&W 460xvr, Walther G22"

Gee Deckard since you speaking for the dealer is their suggested retail price what they are going to sell for or will it be closer to the 499 they retail for in the US?

Or maybe dangertree could answer the questions.

Walter, you're killing me! I have to wait until Tuesday to hear? Have you worked out a retail price yet? Thanks for making the moves on this - I've wanted an SU-16 for a long time now.

My answer from another thread...
Manufactured length vs assembled length, basically. Working on it, we'll see where a few months bring us on it. (I wouldn't holding off buying something else in the meantime, if you dig).

The SU-16-A is still restricted.

We are 4mm off on barrel length (I am aware that the web site has been updated from 467.4 to 470.1)

Price, too far off to know, we don't even have a configuration yet.

I noticed that the 10rd mags are only $15.90. The part SKU is SU16-310. I wonder of they created a new SKU for the PLR16 pistol and marked the Mag as such we would have another 10 RD mag source for rifles. I wonder if the company would accomodate this?

Can you imagine what 10 rd magazine sales would be @ under C$20 /mag?

or did I overlook something?

cheers
