Hello fellow CGN'ers,

I am now a proud owner of a German MG15, wanted to share the unboxing with you all! Had been eyeing this dewat on Collector's Source for about 5 years, an absolutely beautiful gun.

Does anyone else have an MG15 and if so can they share pics? I am curious in trying to find the date on mine though I don't think there is one, plenty of Waffenmarks though.

Thanks

Are you putting it in a Junkers JU 87 Stuka?

I remember seeing a live one with all the bits in Victoria years ago
Even had the mount with ammo box.
It was used as a ground gun to defend airfields

Yes it was converted for ground use during the later years of the war but was used as an aircraft gun in the 1930's and early part of WW2.

According to my father's service documents, he was qualified for it in Mozambique along with the Portuguese M37 rifle and Walther P-38.
