training with .22lr and 9mm pistols

I run a Glock 19 in IDPA and a Glock 19 frame with an Advantage Arms .22 kit as my Speed Steel gun, I like having the same frame, trigger pull, reset etc, I find it works well for me. Yes it's true, you will never replicate the recoil of a 9mm with the .22, but the similarities make me a more confident shooter because I spend all my time on the same platform

I bought a Sig P226 Classic .22LR today. Tried some 1911s, a P320, CZ75, P226 Scorpion etc. I really like the Sig grip and the trigger is pretty good. On the 9mm I'll get the SRT trigger.

I didn't get a 9mm today due to fact they didn't have the ones i was looknig for in stock, but will end up with a Sig P226 variant. Not exactly sure which one yet. I unsurprisingly like the 1911 triggers, but I don't think wife would be comfortable dropping hammer on a SAO w/o a decocker (in case of 1911s) at this point.

Now I have to wait for transfer. The club class isn't next month though, so I've got some time. ;)

The best conversion kits for CZ75 or SP-01shadow are produced in CZ company ANTREG. Zeniths are the best.
