Hi I am interested in seeing if anyone has ever had a problem recycling a Benelli M2 20ga using a Cremator long range choke and #2 hypersonic steel loads? I just sold a 20ga and the buyer says it's not recycling. It worked fine for me with #7.5 hunting loads and Benelli chokes when I tried a box several months ago. It doesn't like target loads, which I advertised in the original ad on CGN. In recent times it began to occasionally fetch up after the first shot using target loads. It was ok when first purchased new but it has sat for a bit and had only a few sporting clay outings with that target load problem. I'm surprised those powerful loads are resulting in recycling issues. Could the recoil be too heavy? Does an aftermarket choke make a difference (it shouldn't?)
I always guarantee my sales and will refund the purchase price less my shipping fees when I receive it in the same condition it was when I sent it. The buyer has agreed to try it again. I had suggested the original Benelli Crio chokes. (IC for steel) I'm just looking for some explanation of why these malfunctions might have occurred. Your experiences in this area would be appreciated. I don't want to have my trader rating affected and will definitely take it back if this issue can't be resolved to the buyer's satisfaction.
Thanks, Allan
