German MG15 Luftwaffe Gun Unboxing

Hi D,

You got a solid firearm collection and number of very education youtube videos. Are any of them shootable?

Thanks for posting!

Nice gun!

Far as I know, there are ZERO Stukas left in airworthy condition...... but there ARE a few Heinkel 111s which might need nose guns!

Supposedly Paul Allen of Microsoft fame is pretty close to having a flight worthy Stuka. Of course his museum is in the USA so the plane will probably have working defenses.

Nothing like unwrapping you new deact mg on the bed. I hope you didn't get any grease and dirt on your sheets? I always suspected things at Collectors Source move very very slowly if you have been eyeing this on their website for 4 or 5 years and it was still available!

Haha no the gun wasn't that greasy, the bed sheets were spared! If an item is decently priced on Collector's Source it will get sold pretty quickly. But this MG started at $7500 about 4 years ago and now came down to $5,000 (which is still expensive but better priced).

Two in flight worthy condition survive...

Ju 87 R-2/Trop. Werk Nr. 5954, and Ju 87 G-2, Werk Nr. 494083.

One in Chicago IL, and the other in the UK.

I believe only the UK one is actually flown, but the one in Chicago can fly.

Super cool aircraft.
