Maple Ridge Armoury Match Grade 5R barrrels are precision CNC machined from premium, Canadian made blanks. The blanks are honed and hand lapped and then button cut rifled with 5R rifling to provide us with the absolute best possible foundation from which to machine and assemble all Maple Ridge Armoury barrels.

Treatment: QPQ Black Nitride or Bead Blasted Stainless
M118LR chamber, 308 bore – 1:11.25” twist rate
6.5 Creedmoor chamber, 6.5mm bore – 1:8″ twist rate
5R rifled, honed and hand lapped
11 degree target crown
Precision cut chamber and gas port
Barrel Extension: DPMS pattern with M4 feed ramps, Nickel Boron plating

Have you considered making a copy of the Parker hale mauser 98
target barrel? Like what was used on the sniper contract rifles
 
Double checking that The interior of the barrel is also nitride.

308, 20” helical fluted nitride is the one I’m looking at!

Yes the entire barrel is black nitride treated. We will be running 20" barrels following the pencil profile ones. Perhaps 2 months away...

Interesting. We are making a run of Savage pre-fit barrels next month followed by Rem 700. We will look into the Parker hale Mauser 98. Thanks!
 
What's the tested accuracy like? Was going to import Fulton/Criterion light weight barrel but if this shoots sub MOA I'd be interested.

I dont know the weight of the BCL102 barrel. The Maple Ridge Armoury AR10 SPR profile barrel with fluting weighs 2lbs 9oz.

What I can tell you is that our barrels are precision CNC machined, Match grade barrels machined from premium, Canadian made IBI blanks. The blanks are honed and hand lapped with 5R rifling. The honing controls bore dimensions down to 0.0001" tolerance for the length of the barrel and the 5R rifling and hand lapping increases velocity and accuracy.
