Stag 10 - .308 GI - Accuracy, performance and general impressions report - Pic Heavy!

What options are there to fix this cronic undergassing? I have the block set screws at 30in/lb and fixed the canted alignment. Is there something going on in the buffer? What should i be looking for?

I’ve done two builds, first with stag Arms BCG,second with Brownells BCG.
I found the stag BCG was very hard to charge,(almost as if was binding)compared to the Brownells.
But this didn’t cause me any failures.

I did have an under gassing issue with one of my handloads, but I suspect that was due to the load being min powder weight.

I'm shooting factory ammo.

So the stag bcg is the problem?

I’m not sure, but if it’s really hard to rack, wouldn’t that cause you issues? Similar to under gassing.
I gues it could be the buffer weight as well.
How do you find it when charging?
Easy and smooth? Or do you got to put a lot of force into it?

I had to really Reeve on it to charge a round , not so much with the Brownells BCG.

Unfound my stag was the same, harder to rack, though not to the point of heaving on it. I just rack approximately 100 times, I could smell it getting hot. Plus about 200 rnds through it. Really smoothed it up. Easy to rack now and feels like butter.
