Any interest on your part to my Inner, great condition, and a CF carry bag, for a store credit?

Well fellas that's the thing about Temp ratings on Canadian Army Sleeping Bags.
I have used Outers alone and been -25*C in a bare slat wall cottage, the CF PolyPro Long johns set.
It was damn cold in there till the bag warmed up and then it was all roses and Jumping Sheep,
till the bladder insisted on a service call at 6 am.
So the only way to rate sleeping bags like these is by relating personal tales with specific parameters and conditions.
The rating are generally set out as listed below in a sliding scale.

SLEEPING BAG TEMPERATURE RATINGS

Temperature ratings were designed to give an idea of a sleeping bag’s performance. For many years, however, they became an area subject to marketing abuse. Recent efforts have been made to restore their validity.

There is no global standard for measuring sleeping-bag performance.

Upper Limit Highest temperature at which a standard adult male is deemed to have
a comfortable night’s sleep without excessive sweating

Comfort Limit Temperature at which a standard adult FEMALE can have a comfortable
night’s sleep

Lower Limit The lowest temperature at which a standard adult MALE is deemed to have
a comfortable night’s sleep

Extreme Limit A survival rating only for a standard adult female.
After 8 hours, hypothermia may start to start set in.

"For many years, however, they became an area subject to marketing abuse." Mhm...
Yeah I know right,
I estimate the temperature rating based on what ex and current CF members have related to me in the last 20+ years
as well as other outdoor enthusiasts and my own experience.
I did a search for formulas to get a 3 lbs of Down will insulate to -XX*C
Cannot find one, There are some standardized tables that are country and continent specific and require paid memberships to access that information.

Ive used a bivy bag and outer bag under the nice november stars of Gagetown. Lowest it dipped that week and a few was the minus teens. Body was fine, but boots were bricks haha.

I wouldnt recommend just an outer to -25 under the stars. A bivy bag with inner and outer... sure

I brought the Inner & Outer, no Bivy. my Brother had one of the MEC subzero rated poly bags that crunched down to the size of a soccer ball :)
Well at omg thirty am I stripped off a bag so he could stop the teeth from chattering.

But I still think y'all need to buy both bags, that's a shameless retailer plug hahaha

They are very warm. I was never a fan of the inner as I found tight and bulky. I would normally have my bivy bag, outer and use a Merlin 3 Snugpak as inner. warm and toasty on winter ex! Never had time for the cone head... I would just wrap a ranger blanker around my neck.
