Hi,

Please tell me, good or bad about this pistol (please only post if you have direct experience and knowledge)

I understand ......

they are Turkish, used by airport police and security guards in Turkey

Slide mounted safety

No repair facility or customer service support since Zenith arms their distributor discontinued business with them, so nowhere to send it for repair if needed and no spare parts availability

Anything you can add please do.... thanks

Well, you did say to only post if you had direct experience & knowledge...that explains the lack of comments.
I thought it was a BHP copy with some possible parts interchange, but apparently not.
"It has been manufactured since 1998, and unlike most Turkish firearms designs, the Kanuni is a more-or-less original design and not simply a modified copy of another pistol"
Looks like a Kanuni owner might be SOL for replacement parts.

Yes, but I was hoping there might be someone who had owned one. Actually I thought it was intended to be a copy of a cz75.

In case anyone else needs information on the tisas kanuni 16, this is what I learned about service, repairs and ammunition.

There is no customer service support, no repair facility and no spare parts availability in north america for the kanuni. Zenith Arms, their previous north american distributor and warranty centre dropped the tisas line entirely and do not handle any warranty or service repair and parts.

I wrote to Tisas in Turkey on the weekend and received an email reply this morning. The kanunis are not built to withstand use of any +p or +p+ AMMUNITION.

A lot of other people may have clicked on it hoping there was a picture because they have no clue what a Tisas Kanuni 16 is.... like myself....

There are pictures of the two for sale right now on cgn.... enter tisas in the search on pistols and you can see them.
