after further research i've found that uberti cylinder should fit.

Uberti will come close but there will still be some filing and timing matching.

have done the switch on an original colt .uberti will fit the cylinder pin .Where my problem was the .375 ball the the cylinder uses would roll down the barrel .Ended up grafting the whole front portion onto the colt frame and made a new cylinder pin to set the barrel correctly
