factory recoil pads?

I don't care much about the recoil pads factories use on thier rifles, it is not a selling feature for me thats for sure. And most likely it would not be what type I like anyways.
Most factory rifles don't fit me properly out of the box. I usually chop the stock to get the right LOP and fit for me and use my choice of recoil pad. I shoot enough that these things mean a big deal to me.
Five minutes ago I just finished doing these things to another one of my rifles, much nicer now. Cost was about $30, so in the long run not much cost and I have another rifle that fits me properly and is much nicer to shoot than it was from the factory.
Remington is putting some decent pads on these days. I think it is a big selling feature to get a good factory pad instead of having to go the aftermarket route later.
The ones I hate the most are the hard plates as they have a tendancy to slip when stood up.

theres some good aftermarket pads-deecelerator etc, why don't these firearms companies team up with them-including it in the assembly line wouldn't add more than a few dollars to the cost-and may make the diference in a sale

remington uses the Limbsaver pad on most of their rifles. The best recoil pad I've used. a big plus for remington
X2 Amphib is right! Limbsavers are installed on most Remingtons and man they take the bite out of the big kickers!
