At least version two. I have the first Burris Fastfire. Sooner or later I will have to change the battery. This entails dismounting the optic and resighting it afterwards. My one and only minor gripe with it.

Otherwise it's a superb partner with my M6 combination gun. Headshots on bunnies in boreal forest. 7.5 shot or 22 LR.
 
Depends on your budget.
Since it’s a 10/22 you could go with a bushnel trs 25 they are about $150.00 or so
You can get some more exspensive ones like the aim points which can run around $800.00
I like the mid road ones my self like the Holosun and the Sig Sauer Romeo 4 h $400.00 or so
 
There’s a few options depending on budget. The TRS-25 is an excellent value.

Be careful of open style RDS such as Burris fastfire, Vortex viper,Razor etc. If the laser projector gets water on it you won’t be able to see your red dot. The water causes the dot to diffract and go blurry.

I wouldn’t worry to much about having a fine dot. The Ruger 10/22 has pellet gun accuracy anyways so getting a nice sharp dot is a waste.
 
Have you looked through a red dot before? Do you have astigmatism?
Reason being that people with astigmatism will see a starburst image vs. a crisp dot.

I have a trs25 and prefer it over the sparc I used to have, because I prefer the dial turn on/off vs the side button that was always getting accidentally bumped on.

I haven't had the chance to look through one. As far as I know I don't have astigmatism (saw my eye doctor about a year ago)

There cheap and work in all light conditions. Gives you 3moa or better at 100m with bulk federal. At least on mine. I tried cheaper options it they were heavier or hard to see in certain light conditions. . I have two of these red dots now as I really liked the first.
