Welding repair on worn Mag latch slot in a 45ACP mag

Anyone have any luck getting it done?
Don't have welding at home or at work right now.
Suggestions on who to send it to?

Paying to ship the mag, paying for repairs and paying for shipping back would far exceed the cost of buying a new magazine. Even if you found someone local, I think it would still cost more than the mag is worth.

Sourcing LLama IX-A mags is virtually impossible.

I would try something like a two part epoxy first. Tig welding something that thin with the coatings on it is doable but would be a mess.

My thought also.
I have done this on a couple of mags and they are still holding up.

Silver solderaybe? Stronger than lead-based solder and less heat than welding.

I have done thin stuff like this, but have been out of action ,re welding for 7/8 yrs, so too shaky, find a friend that welds, a small mig in the right hands would work, you need a backing, carbon or copper, etc, other wise just goes south.
Just to make your day, I sold 3 of these a couple months ago, sorry about that
